Starfarer

Starfarer is a top-down spaceship game where you can pilot your own ship and command a fleet.
It can be described as "mount and blade in space". If you have ever played Space Pirates and Zombies it is similar to that but deeper and involving more strategy. It is in Alpha right now and is only $10 (you get to play alpha is you preorder, like how minecraft worked).

I've been thinking about getting this, it looks really cool, and I love space and M&B.
Have you bought it? What do you think?

Ive bought it and i think it is pretty cool. I like customizing the loadout of my ships and fleets, even though I only have 3 frigates so far. The combat is fun because you have to flank to get past some shields and use specific weapons to taake down sheilds and hull. I can see it getting WAY more fun with updates. The developer is involved in the community, and the game has mod compatability already! But dont rely on me for you decision.
