Well, I get what you're saying there, but that's likely that all the armor configurations physically exist in the .map files rather than in some common container. That'd be my guess as to why it only works in the Defiant pack and why they're having issues getting the new (and ugly) helmet to work across the board.

On that note though if that is the case then having the Flood in there would actually be easier as then everything a particular map needs is encased in that container. Don't really know how Halo's structure is admittedly, though.

The problem with the Flood Firefight would be that it would need a special gametype, as all of the others can not have Flood as an option in their Game Options menus. I guess they could reasonably set that up, but it would be a shame if they could only have it on that one map.

Oh well, we should probably just wait and see what they can do. :P

I agree with Grev, and i think any halo is good (at least with Bungie, we shall see), ODST had the best OST ever BTW, the ambience is very cool, and it has a very movie-like ambience, dont skip it.

AND BTW!! how about if they include the species that Bungie cut from their Halo, in the new Halo games? it would be beyond awesome

So apparently they've already fixed Master Chief's helmet, but didn't have it done in time for the shooting of the E3 trailer. See HERE for more info. The "Frankie" in the post is Frank O'Connor, Franchise Development Director at 343 Industries.

Looks like they improved the graphics engine a lot since E3.

At least this preorder thing sounds like it'll be included in the case at every retailer and not like the Johnson ODST codes that certain derp employees didn't know to hand out.

I was hoping for more maps, but this'll do. I'll sell the avatar code and use the other one. Can someone clarify something though? I know multiplayer is powered by Reach, but lots of folks think it requires Reach. My understanding is that you can play multiplayer from the disc but that you can also download the same maps to play natively in Reach.

Reach:
-Has all Reach maps
-Has the ability to play all playlists
-Requires a download of the CEA maps which is either free with purchase of CEA or a DLC purchase at a later time

CEA:
-Has the 6 MM and 1 FF map only
-Has the ability to play the playlists that require only the CEA maps
-Cannot play the other maps from Reach (ie: Zealot, Condemned, Tempest)

This game looks so awesome :bowdown: But there is one thing I don't get.. In the link Fusion posted where they announced the Grunt Funeral Skull the Assault Rifle looked like the original one, but in this one it's the Halo Reach one...
Which one do you think they should have in-game?
The original looks so freakin' much better than the Reach one IMO.

If you listen to the guy in the beginning of the video, he explains that the build that he is playing is old, from E3, it has been improved since then (as seen in the Grunt Funeral Skull video).

Oh... I have never noticed that :oops:, But thank godness that they are not using the Reach one.

They really did fix that helmet before E3, it seems. The Marines in the other scans are still wielding Reach ARs and are Reach Troopers themselves, but the helmet here looks much nicer.

Um, what were they talking about in the caption of hte first picture? They obviously knew nothing about Reach controls.

OXM is notorious for not understanding anything about Halo. These are the same people who said Epitaph was a Collosus remake.
