It appears that Mark VI is also included on the Halo 4 armory.
At PAX, a new weapon was found, called the Incinerator, and is the Promethean heavy weapon. And talking about heavy weapons, you can see the Fuel Rod gun at 3:00 in "A Hero Awakens".

Thanks for the link Fusion. It's looking pretty interesting. Sadly I don't have a 360, so I won't get to play it.

I've always liked the relationship between Chief and Cortana, so it's good they're expanding and continuing that.

UNSC:
Battle rifle - Rifle designed for close combat and mid range combat.
Assault rifle - Rifle designed for mid range combat.
DMR - Rifle designed for long range combat.
Magnum - Pistol designed for close combat.
Antimatériel S5 - Sniper rifle with 2 zoom levels
SAW - LMG with heavy damage capabilities.
Sticky detonator - Pistol that launches a small detonator.
Railgun - Heavy rifle that shots a high speed projectile.
Rocket launcher - Anti armor weapon.
Spartan Laser - Anti armor weapon.
Shotgun - Designed for close quarters combat.

Covenant:
Storm rifle - Rifle designed for close combat and mid range combat.
Plasma pistol - Pistol designed for close combat.
Needler - Designed for close combat.
Energy sword - Meele weapon.
Gravity hammer - Meele weapon.
Fuel rod gun - Anti armor weapon.
Beam rifle - Sniper rifle.
Concussion rifle - Heavy rifle that shots several grenades in a short period of time.
Carbine - Rifle designed for long range combat.

-- Apparently, all helmets have been revealed at PAX and were usable during gameplay, except for the Specialization armors. This means there are no more helmets comming, and anyways, there are a lot.

-- At least 1 more promethean weapon has to be revealed. It can be seen on the E3 demo that the Battlewagon that strikes Master Chief is carring a short barreled weapon, possibly a counter part to the Battle Rifle.

You are right. And anyways, being most of 343 RvB fans, i dont think they will want to ruin Caboose. I hope they include Mark V as it is the oldest helmet.

Just had a major theory pop into my head.

I've noticed that 343 has not mentioned what the "pilot" of the Knight is yet. It's far too small to be the 7-12 foot tall Forerunner as all of the Spartans shown next to it are slightly bigger in size. So, what else could there be?

In Primordium, a machine known as the Composer was revealed. It had the ability to halt Flood infection by putting bodies into a life support machine and then moving their consciousness to a Monitor or other AI-capable device. Now, the Flood during this time had recently attacked Installation 07 and converted almost the entire human population on that ring to Flood themselves. What if some had been saved by the Bornstellar Didact much like he saved Chakas/Guilty Spark but instead of making them monitors, he turned them into Prometheans?

Then I thought about two other types of beings that were revealed in Cryptum, the Florians and the Pheru. Florians were a smaller type of human (and based on a type of human fossil found in real life) and the Pheru were a pet of the original human civilization defeated by the Forerunners. The Pheru were known because the ancient humans used the Flood spore powder on them for breeding purposes and it turned them into the first Flood forms. Look at the other two types of Prometheans. One is the Watcher, a floating enemy that is smaller than the Knights, and judging by the size of the head, whatever it is based on is smaller than the pilot body of the Knight. The Crawlers are a small, dog-like machine. You can see what I'm getting at.

So, is this what they are? We'll have to wait until November. The only flaw I see in my theory is that a Didact is in the game and fights Master Chief and Cortana at some point, implying that he is the ancient evil or giant sphere. That's out of character for the Bornstellar Didact, but the basic plot synopsis for Silentium mentions an Ur-Didact, the original Didact that fought humanity that was supposedly killed by the Master Builder. This Didact makes more sense to be the main villain of this new trilogy, but if he hates humans so much, why use them as his main attacking force? That is the problem with this theory, and I can't wait to either find out why it's wrong, or why it's right.

For it to be right, the Ur-Didact just took humans and made them slaves. I think your theory can be true, since the prometheans have what seems to be human skulls.
So the Ur-Didact could've created prometheans based on a combination between humans and cybernetics.
Oh, they also have arms...

If you havent noticed, Neil has taken hints from the entire Halo OST for Halo 4, even from Halo Wars. There is a song with a piano played deep in the background, that sounds exactly like Halo Wars, but it is not Belly of the Beast.

If I can recall, you used to do this a lot back in the day (minus posting the actual new information part). New campaign vehicle called Mantis (formerly refered as the mech or the Cyclops)
New gametype called Flood. This gametype is the new itteration of Infection, with 2 players playing as flood combat forms against other 10 players.
New gametype called Dominion. This is about capturing bases, and eventually the bases defend themselves.

I also forgot to say this. Frank said that they "cheated" at E3, meaning that the introduction to the Prometheans was just for the show. I suspected this when i saw Return of the Forerunners and noticed a blue promethean attacked Master Chief in the same way the one on the E3 demostration did, and i tought it just couldn't be the same secuence...

So, at the beginning of Dawn (mission 1) Master Chief engages the rogue Covenant faction, now known as Storm. The Storm have already encountered Prometheans, or at least their technology, since it is possible to get pulse grenades from dead Storm troops.

During Forerunner (mission 3) we get to meet the Prometheans for the first time. There is just one issue that Frank didn't want to talk about: why they are blue.
According to Frank, the prometheans start just an automated defense system for Requiem, and eventually turn into something evil. Also during this mission, Master Chief gets to see the Cryptum for the first time, and this Cryptum eventually becomes active thanks to either the Chief or the Storm.

So far i don't have a theory of why the blue prometheans change suddenly to orange.

Thumbs up on both pics. I cancelled my preorder (but only to buy a new HDTV) but I'm soo excited to play this around Christmas time.

Have they revealed whether the main campaign will be co-op? If not I'll be a little peeved.

4-player co-op, but there aren't any other characters like in Halo 3 with the Arbiter, blue guy, and red guy. You will just play as another chief.

Apparently all 4 Chiefs emerge from different cryo pods in the first mission, so no Three Stooges moments like at the beginning of ODST.


Edit:
New map revealed from a press event: Ragnarok. It's a remake of Valhalla.

Not sure how I feel about that. I mean, there's no more forcing us to use AR starts, but the DMR on Valhalla? It's going to be a bloodbath.

Let's just hope 343 has enough sense to keep it out of 4v4 Slayer and if they do put it in there, have enough sense to not have the Banshee on it. Seriously, the Banshee is in Team Slayer but not Social Slayer in Halo 3 right now. Makes absolutely no sense, but it's probably just an oversight from when they had someone with no experience running playlists running them and when they finally had someone else clean them up before Reach.

You know what the Halo series needs (all games)? The ability to play as your custom character in the campaign after you've completed it once. That way we don't have clones running around or fights about who gets to be Chief.
