A screenshot from your phone is useless, I need actual texture files :P

And please use img and hide tags.

@anthony -- Just like you can extract chunks for porting PSP gametypes -- the same thing can be done with textures from the stock shell. I had to do it for a few textures on the Xbox. Just put them into the munged section and set them to read only so they don't get deleted when you do a clean.

And soon for all you know, all of the BF1 maps will be on PSP, and possible even a couple completely custom maps. I have the PC and the PS2 version of the game. Are there mods like this for the PS2?

At some point I do plan to take all of my current PSP mods and toss them over to the PS2 since both games are almost similar. But for now I am not concerned with it. Modding the PS2 requires too much effort, I have never done it. I do have a friend who does PS2 modding and we've tested a few small scale modes. The best thing we have for PS2 right now is Fake Console menu and Hero Assault on all maps. If you want the files I am willing to give them to you but it's all up to you to figure out how to mod the PS2 to enable modded games.

I almost never play the PS2 version anymore. I was just curious. Well, I might try playing it again if someone ever figures out a way to put at least a few of or all of the bf1 maps to the ps2, but then I wouldn't know where to store the maps. The memory cards wouldn't be possible because mine are like 8mb.

Mods are not saved to the memory card. PS2 Hacking basically involves burning a new DVD (Max 4GB?) with a new copy of the game and all of the modded files added into it. So in other words, space and file sizes would not be an issue.

Didn't think of that. Well if Xbox and PsP are possible, then I'm sure one day PS2 will be possible as well. Gamecube would be the only one impossible because of the tinier disk size, plus no one really uses it anymore (except for the collectors).

I think the original Battlefront may have got released for GameCube, but the second one was just PC, PS2, PSP and XBox.

Nah, both were only released on PC, PS2, and Xbox, and SWBF2 was also released on PSP. The Gamecube also has one less trigger button than the other controllers so there'd be no way to swap secondary weapons.

Elite Squadron would have been released for PS2 if Battlefront 3 wasn't cancelled. It was supposed to be both the PSP and PS2 versions of Battlefront 3.

Some developer on Neogaf said this (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread. ... 181&page=2).

There is evidence in the files. A few SWBF3 logos, a file referring to the game as "SWBF3_PSPRelease", and some leftover text referring to PS2 memory cards.

I don't really care about rogue and elite squadron. My favorite game is Battlefront 2 and I was shocked with I picked up the PSP and saw that is had about 7 maps total and triggered my interest in making it better.

Rouge and elite squadron could have been so much better than what they were... They had Armor customization, New weapons, new load outs. But the controls and such were it's downfall.

The controls were truly sad. Couldn't free aim like Battlefront 2 could. If anyone wants to extract and import those maps for Battlefront 2, it's all on them. I don't have the desire to touch it.

I think you can if you switch the control scheme to "Alternate".
