Baroonda: Swamp Ruins

Post by Sky_216 »

Baroonda: Swamp Ruins

Author: Eggman

Eggman made this very nice new swamp map for Last Days. It's set on the planet Baroonda, previously seen in the "episode I racer" game. The map is a medium sized forest map, with lots of cover, water, and small vehicles to fight with. There are three random weather conditions/skies - a normal overcast one, a darker, rainy one and a red-tinted one due to volcanic ash falling into the forest (Baroonda has volcanoes).

Current modes are conquest on both Last Days era and Dark Times era.

I love the idea for the volcanic eruption weather effects. I never would have thought of that.

I remember Eggman was working on this map a while ago (and another Racer based map as well?). Glad to see it's back in production. Stunning work, guys! :D

This is actually an entirely new map. The original Baroonda map was lost when my old computer died last winter. This new version is much better - it has a better layout, better environment, better gameplay, and new models to keep it from just being a Dagobah clone.
