Felucia: Rise of the Empire

SPACE FELUCIA


This battle takes place early after the foundation of the Alliance. The Empire has taken control of the dangerous fungus forest planet Felucia and begins to murder the local civilians with orbital bombardments and their ground troops.
The Rebels have to act and send a space fleet to the Felucia system to stop the destruction of Felucia.
The Empire defends Felucia with several frigates and three destroyers while the Alliance sends one Mon Calamari cruiser, one Recusant-class light destroyer, one Nebulon-B escort frigate and a few CR90 corvette and one transporter.

Looks great! I usually hate space maps, but I'm sure I will like this one a lot!
One question, will there be any side change for the rebels/empire?

Nice! Space Felucia has never been done before in a mod. Is the ARC-170 Rebels or Empire? What fighters will each team have?

The fighter are all edited and I changed the weapons, velocity and all this stuff! The troops stayed the same except the imperial pilot which looks kinda like the republic pilot. The reason for this is, the battle takes place at the beginning of the rise of the empire and not everything has totally changed from the republic units to the imperial ones. The ARC Fighter is three seated by the way!

I gonna add a bit more description and information to the first post!

The last half or so of the screenshots don't work for me by the way, it could just be me but you might want to fix it.

Do you know the scene in episode VI when the rebels captured an imperial shuttle? I thought this would be kinda reminding some people on it.

Besides I am thinking of imperial troops attacking the capitol ship from the inside...

Cool idea. :thumbs: I like how this isn't just the "2 ships, bomber war" stock kind of space map.

Looks pretty awesome, Executer! It's cool that you are able to view the space battle from the bridge of the Rebel captial ship. I'm not sure if you want any ideas or suggestions, but if you do, how about replacing the TIE Interceptor and A-Wing with some earlier crafts? Maybe a V-Wing and Z-95, respectively, instead? Anyway, keep up the good work! :D

The ARC-170 is a star fighter of the Empire.

Thank you for the positive feedback! It is not the bridge but a side view window of the Mon Calamari cruiser, but I am working on the inner bridge.
A Z-95 would be really sweet, but I have no model! I already thought about adding an V-wing, but so far I think the imperial crafts are complete. The A-wing and the TIE Interceptor is going to stay though :D

Although, I think you should re-texture the stock Tantive IV command center to make it not seem so obvious, and to make it not seem like the player's inside another Corellian Corvette. Also, I think a simple double-faced window with double-sided transparency with just the tiniest amount of specular in the window's texture would look really cool.

Looks great! I love space maps with interiors and I thing the idea is great too. I always wanted to see a three seeted arc-170.
Sugestion: could you make an interior to the tantive 4 so you could land in it and there would be few hallways and stuff. Also I agrre with Marth8880

You should retexture the hallways.

FIXED! It is working again!
  • Created the destroyable inside of the Alliance bridge

  • I am working on an guided rocket turret which fires rockets with a self destruction function and splinter missiles as weapon

  • New firing sound for some turrets
  • Had to remove a lot of the "inside" of the Mon Calamari cruiser
  • Made an "incoming Victory II-class frigate" animation which has an active region
