Kitbashed these using Star Wars: Force Arena parts and ggctuk's stormtrooper model as a base.

Re: Glamour Skins to the 9s
Decided to have a go at recreating the DLT-19 (and maybe the DLT-19X and DLT-20A at some point).
I want to recreate the DLT-20A and redo the A280C to use modified stock parts. This DLT-19 is using the stock E11S sniper as its base model, with a minimal amount of texture parts borrowed from the official still of the DLT-19 from EA's Battlefront (though I am to keep that to an absolute bare minimum). Most of the texture parts are stock, with the barrel texture coming from the Rebel sniper rifle. It's not finished yet, as you can see. I need to break the barrel up a bit and add a bit more detail to the trigger guard portion of the mesh, and the tripod stand underneath needs to be remodelled. Other than that, I won't have to do a whole lot of mesh changes to the model (which makes me wonder why they didn't just have a scoped DLT-19 in the original game, as the E11S is very close to the DLT-19 anyway).
I'm considering having the stock scope as a separate part - as it's very close to the modded DLT-19 that the Death Troopers carry in Rogue One.
EDIT: Here's a second, more recent WIP:
I'm happy with how this has turned out. Just got to add one more detail to the middle of the barrel and I'll be ready to release it.

Great job! The model looks awesome and I hope you will release it soon, but I don't get why you'd post this in the glamour skins topic, hehe.

Re: Glamour Skins to the 9s
It's technically a reskinned, modified version of the stock E11S rifle. I'll be using the E17D to recreate the DLT-20A as well (the scope will be trickier because that will need modelling and UVing almost from scratch but once I've done it, the scope is the same between the DLT-20A and the A280C, and the DLT-19X uses a slightly modified version of that scope)Delta-1035 wrote:Great job! Re: Glamour Skins to the 9s
Here are a couple of player models that I've been wanting to use in a map/mod sometime featuring a small skirmish between the First Order and the New Republic taking place before the events of The Force Awakens.
First up is a New Republic soldier:
Had to think about this one for a while. Wasn't really sure what they should look like. Was originally going to go with white armor, but figured it would make them look too much like Stormtroopers. So I settled for gray and went with a blue and yellow color scheme since those are the colors of the canon New Republic symbol.
And the second is a First Order Special Forces Stormtrooper:
This is Anakin's model. Just with black armor and the red stripe design on the torso.
So the story is, trying to fit it in with the new canon, some New Republic guys thought they were just facing another Imperial Remnant group and don't see them as a serious threat.

Its actually a pretty close match to what almost became new republic soldiers.AQT wrote: Had to think about this one for a while. Wasn't really sure what they should look like. In the poe dameron comic series a location was shown which was called "Republic Prison" with prison guards who were supposed to be New Republic personnel. They changed the idea into a mercenary prison and took out the Republic part when the issue came out (to avoid canon issues I think)..but in spirit they were New Republic prison guards:

Re: Glamour Skins to the 9s
As the Wii version of TFU is now able to have its models ripped, I ported the Jump Trooper and the Stormtrooper (and may do the 501st and Heavy Troopers at some stage).
The Stormtrooper, Sandtrooper and Stormtrooper with Pauldron (I didn't show the Stormtroopers with just the pauldron, or just the backpack attachments) are all override texture-compatible. I've already done a Shocktrooper skin, I'm going to include the Shadowtrooper skin and do an Incinerator Trooper skin as well.

Re: Glamour Skins to the 9s
I think you mean specular. To do that, you have to use the material editor in ZETools.Javitolo98 wrote: A question,How can I add gloss to a model?
Standard models tend to have RGB of 0.5/0.5/0.5 with Specular Decay of 50, but you can play around with those settings to create what looks good to you.

Re: Glamour Skins to the 9s
Someone requested this and it was easy enough, so whatever. I have the .tga and the .psd if anyone wants to modify it.
Not my best work, really. But you decide.

Here's a scheme inspired by the Ultra Marines from WH40k. They're a special branch of Senate Commandos wearing Phase-II Clone Armor. I didn't know how it'd turn out, but wanted to show off something I made a few months ago.
