Conversion pack won't work

I installed the conversion pack and whenever I load a map, it's all black and it won't let me spawn. I did a complete reinstall of BF2 and it didn't work. I do have 133 missions over the mission limit so that might be the problem. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
