Battlefront Zero - Mandalorian Affairs

"One clone trooper, an elite ARC trooper named Alpha-Ø2 and nicknamed "Spar,"
ended up going rogue and changing the Mandalorians forever.

Because Jango took part in training the ARCs, Alpha-Ø2 had memories of Jango Fett.
He went to Mandalore and started rebuilding the Mandalorian supercommandos into the Mandalorian Protectors from soldiers of local police forces and even former members of the Death Watch.
Alpha-Ø2 became Mandalore the Resurrector, leading his men alongside the Confederacy of Independent Systems."

This is a new organ of Battlefront Zero. It features a new 'era', which is still the Clone Wars.. Only this time, the Confederacy is replaced as their allies: Mandalorians.

The Mandalorians have different classes:

-BL-Series Battle Legionnaire (Trooper Class)
-Mandalorian Soldier (Engineer Class)
-Mandalorian Assassin (Sharpshooter Class)
-Mandalorian Bounty Hunter (Assault Class)
-Mandalorian Commando (Officer Class)
-Jedi Killer (Special Class)

The weapons are mostly custom models, based on Confederacy weapons. The Mando's also make use of Confederacy vehicles, only with their own paintings.

The idea of adding the Mandalorians to the Clone Wars seems to be a popular one...
That being said, all of the skins/models look good except the BL Legionarre. The green seems unfit for the model and it looks a bit awkward. I'd advise making it a darker color, and fixing the model up. Also, since that last Mandolorian might be inspired by the Mandolarians soon to appear in Season 2, I suggest giving him a vibro-blade as an alternate weapon.
Also, is this era going to be added to every BF0 map, or just a few? I suggest just a few, to cut down on the large amount of missions this awesome mod is going to have.
Good luck with Battlefront Zero, MandeRek!

Lol nice!

Although I would suggest the Jedi Killer would have a high powered rifle that he actually USED to kill jedi with, rather than being like a jedi-mando fuse.

Ghez Hokan carried a lightsaber trophy and used it. Thing is he didn't have a lightsaber style(wild swinging) and he had other weapons. So maybe u could make the lightsaber swings less elegant(combo editing to make him perhaps more slow with it or something or swings with less area-covering)

@All } I had no idea AQT was doing this kindoff thing.. Really sorry if someone thinks I 'stole' or 'copied' his idea, this just came up to my mind.

Also, the Jedi Killer is indeed more Jedi as Mando. Different Mandalorians are known to kill Jedi, and indeed, keep their lightsabers as trophy. I gave this dude only one animation (wild slashing with his saber) and he'll have the SE-14 Blaster Pistol as prim. weapon.

I added the 'Mandalorian Affairs' era to Battlefront Zero, it will be playable on different maps. Conquest is standard, and there might be a small campaign (where you play as a Mando Bounty hunter). These campaigns will always be on maps where 'ZERO Squad' makes no appearance.

Nah, I'm not making or have made any Mandolarian+Clone Wars-related mods. You would be the first.

Don't want to be a critic, but that droid Really needs a texture revamp, particular around the stomach. Still, very great model!

Please dont bump old topics, we don't want them to get locked, since we have some updates now and then. Thanks for the critism, I might improve his uvs ;) They were always quite messy, this is RepSharpshooters old model, and I turned out quite nice. Anyhow, this mode isn't forgotten for the next release, it will be added to some other maps, and will feature vehicles. It will also make an appearance in the campaign I'm scripting

The staff won't lock them, because they're sticky topics and stickies/FAQs don't really get "bumped." If you would prefer that a topic doesn't get bumped, it might be best to keep it as a regular topic rather than a sticky/announcement.
