Ah really? Ok, I must of read the release wrong on the trailer. Darn it. Was looking forward to playing it this Thursday too. Oh well, looks like I'll have BF3 to keep me company until it comes out.

The creative director of Halo 4 has left the team, as he is no longer "creatively excited" for the game. That doesn't mean he thinks it'll be bad, but he just didn't know where to take it. Source: Click! Not the best news in a while, if I do say so myself. But it could be worse. The title of the article COULD'VE been what he actually meant and said.

He wasn't the Creative Director, he was the Narrative Director. Creative Director implies he was touching the gameplay, he was just helping with the story.

Headlong is looking great, along with the Pillar of Autumn and Chief's final model.

EDIT:
Download the "No Reticle Bloom and No more annoying armour lock" gametype from this link: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileD ... loWaypoint
I don't know why it is a reported file but you just need to press "view at your own risk"...

EDIT 2:
New video of weapons sound comparisation:

IMO, the weapon sounds kind of overpowered in Anniversary.
But the grapix is super mega awesome hell good

Waypoint just put up the Anniversary achievements.

I feel bad that I understood almost every reference. :P

Some achievements sound tricky, and i have the feeling that they will hide an elite on Keyes to make it harder to get the Tying Up Loose Ends achievement.

Probably been mentioned already, but Timberland is going to have Forge-able trees. Cool.

I just hope we get a different Forge palette than the Forerunner stuff. I like it, but with all the Forge World variants I need a change of scenery.

So the final explanation of the CE A maps is now available:

- In every box of CE A is a marketplace download code. If you do not have an Xbox internet connection, you will have to change between discs to play them all.

- CE A can not use Reach stock or DLC maps, regardless of if Reach is installed to your HDD or not.

- Multiplayer on CE A is selected from the main menu. When you choose it, the game will have a slight delay with the Reach "diamond" load screen and then there will be a watered down version of Reach (a la Halo 3: Mythic)

- The maps downloaded from the code take up just about 2GB, so if you are still using a 20 GB HDD from the old models or don't have an HDD, I suggest investing in a flash drive to store the maps on.

By the way, if you haven't preordered it yet you can get Halo Anniversary for USD $30 at newegg.com. When you consider that when the multiplayer maps get released as DLC they'll cost half that much it's well worth the price. Plus if you just want the DLC I've already checked with GameStop and initial trade in value will be USD $18, which means you're actually likely to save money for just the MP maps. Hurry though, I'm sure that on the 15th the price will return to the normal USD $40.

So the bulletin board (the one with the Alien reference) looks a little different in Anniversary mode. Hidden due to spoilers.

It looks like the legendary planet from Halo 3, which would make more since if Bungie had done it

So gameplay has started to leak online. Not really impressed with how easily the skulls can be found.
